- Unside not black to grey and belly not bright golden yellow, unspotted

- Total length:
up to about 45 mm
- Already some days after hatching obvious yellow longitudinal stripes
on the back, disappearing later on.
- Hence exclusion of Yellow-bellied toad is possible by distribution
only.
